Order terms

From the free preview to the finished site. In plain words, no small print.

Updated 16 October 2026

1. Parties and scope

These terms apply when a business or organisation (the client) asks Mrrp Software (a sole proprietorship, Business ID 3661386-1, Tampere, Finland) for a free preview in the website shop on our front page and then orders the website. The order is a business-to-business agreement, so consumer protection law does not apply. If the Finnish and English versions differ, the Finnish one applies.

2. The free preview

We look at every preview request ourselves. We may accept a request or decline it without giving a reason. We work on at most 5 sites at a time. When every place is taken, an accepted request waits in line in the order it arrived.

The preview is ready within 2 working days of the request being accepted and the client's material arriving, or, from the line, of the client's turn coming. The preview shows the direction: the look, the feel and the front page with the client's own logo and texts. It is not the finished site.

The preview is free and the client is under no obligation to order. The preview and its design stay ours until the client orders the site, and may not be used without an order.

3. The order and what it includes

The agreement is made when the client orders the site on their own page after the preview and accepts these terms. The website is priced like a shop: a base price, and each feature the client picks (for example online booking or a web shop) has its own price. The order includes what the client picked in the shop and what the shop describes at the time of ordering: the base price covers up to 7 pages (the front page, contact details and the pages picked for the menu) and two languages, and the features picked come on top. If the client chooses that we write the texts, we write them from the client's details, and the client checks they are correct.

4. Schedule

Working days are Monday to Friday, except Finnish public holidays. Bigger features (for example a web shop or customer accounts) may need a longer schedule, which we tell the client before they order. The schedule assumes the client's material and answers are available.

The client is responsible for having the right to use the material they provide (for example photos and the logo). Photos we pick are licensed for free commercial use.

5. Changes and approval

When the finished site is ready to review, the client can ask for changes on their own page. 2 rounds of changes are included. A round is one list of changes sent at once, which can hold many changes within what was ordered: texts, photos, colours, order and details of the look. For further rounds, and for additions beyond the order (for example a new feature or more pages than included), we give the price first, and nothing is done without the client's approval.

The site counts as approved when the client approves it on their own page, or if the client neither asks for changes nor answers our messages within 14 days.

6. Price and payment

Prices are the shop's prices at the time of ordering: the base price and the prices of the features picked. We are not VAT-registered (Finnish VAT Act, section 3), so no VAT is added. The setup price is paid by invoice, either at once or in three interest-free parts a month apart. The first invoice is sent the working day after the order. Invoices are due in 14 days. Late payments carry interest under the Finnish Interest Act.

The Nine Lives care plan is part of the order whenever the site has at least one feature (see section 8). For a plain site, the client can choose it if they want. The care plan's monthly fee is the base fee plus the monthly fees of the features picked. The monthly fee starts on the day the site is published and is invoiced monthly in advance.

Launch offer: the first 5 clients to order get the website's base price at €200 instead of the normal €600, if they order by 31 December 2026. The features keep their own prices, and the care plan's monthly fee stays normal. In return, we may show the finished site as a reference, and we ask the client for a Google review once the site is done.

7. Cancelling

The client can cancel free of charge within two working days of ordering, as long as we haven't yet sent the finished site for review, and anything already paid is refunded. After that, cancelling costs the work done, at most the setup price. To cancel, email hello@mrrpsoftware.com or send a message on the client's own page.

8. Handover and ownership

The domain is registered in the client's name. When the site is published and the setup price paid, the client gets the site's source code and content as files, and they belong to the client (the handover). After the handover the client may use, change, move and develop them freely, themselves or through anyone else. The site's texts, photos and the client's customers' data belong to the client. We may mention the site as a reference unless the client says no. For a site ordered with the launch offer, the reference is a condition of the offer (section 6).

Features (for example booking, forms, a web shop and customer accounts) run on our platform. Their software stays ours: it isn't part of the source code handed over, and the client may use the features as a service for as long as the Nine Lives care plan runs. That is why the care plan is part of the order whenever the site has at least one feature. A plain site with no features can be taken without the care plan and moved to the client's own server. The data gathered through the features, such as bookings, orders and customer details, belongs to the client, and we hand it over as ordinary files.

9. Care plan and ending it

The Nine Lives care plan covers hosting, a secure connection, backups, security updates, domain renewal and small changes, such as new opening hours or prices, up to one hour a month. Unused time doesn't carry over to the next month. The client can end the care plan with one month's notice. We then transfer the domain to the client and hand over the site content and customer data as ordinary files.

10. Personal data

When the site has booking, forms or a shop, we process the client's customers' personal data on the client's behalf as a data processor. We process it only on the client's instructions, keep it in the EU and follow Article 28 of the GDPR. How we handle your own details is in the privacy policy.

11. Liability

We work with care and fix faults caused by us free of charge when they show up before the handover (section 8). After the handover the site is the client's: fixes and changes are part of the Nine Lives care plan while it runs, and otherwise we do them at a price agreed separately. We are not liable for changes the client or anyone else makes after the handover. Our liability is in every case limited to the order's setup price, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost income, unless caused on purpose or by gross negligence. We are not liable for outages caused by service providers (for example Cloudflare or the domain registry) or other things outside our control.

12. Disputes

Finnish law applies. We try to settle disagreements by talking first. If that fails, they are settled in the Pirkanmaa District Court.
